BECOME A CAP VOLUNTEER! It's rewarding and fun.

Since 1983, CAP Volunteers have provided a drug and alcohol prevention program for 5th and 6th grade students at Pulaski Street Elementary School.

CAP currently needs adult Volunteers to help teach our Pulaski Street School Drug and Alcohol Prevention Program:
                               •  No experience necessary
                               •  Free education and training provided
                               •  It only takes about three hours each month
                               •  It has proven results
                               •  It’s fun and rewarding!

How it works:
CAP Volunteers attend a monthly training session on Mondays evenings or Tuesday mornings (whichever is more convenient for you). The week after the training, Volunteers and Peer Leaders teach a lesson at Pulaski Street School on a Thursday or Friday, during school hours. Training begins in mid to late October. There will also be opportunities for additional training and workshops.

Our 2011 - 2012 schedule will be available in October, 2011. For additional information, call CAP at 727-3722 or email us at Volunteer@RiverheadCAP.org.

NEW for 2011 - 2012:  CAP can provide training at your work or organization's site for volunteer groups of 4 or more!
